1. Should I sign my artwork?
Yes, please! We ask that you include your name, age, and the state where you live. If you attend or have attended a school which has faced gun-violence, we encourage you to include the name of your school, or the town where the incident occurred. Of course, we understand if you would like to keep your identity more private, and will happily accept your work either way.
2. I'm not an artist. Can I still help?
ABSOLUTELY. Do you know any humans? If you do, tell them all about "Art For Survival," guide them to this website, and encourage them to send us art! You can also support Art For Survival by donating here: https://www.gofundme.com/artforsurvival
3. Will "Art For Survival" own my art?
By submitting your art, you give us the right to display your work by means of posters, signs, and eventually projections.
4. Do I have to be a certain age to submit my artwork?
Nope. We will not discriminate based on age, but we will select the strongest artwork we see.
5. How can I help spread this movement?
Tell your friends, siblings, cousins, parents, teachers, camp directors, and art instructors. Print our flyers and tape them around your school. We recommend displaying flyers on walls around school, inside the art classrooms, in the cafeteria, near water fountains, in the music wing, on doors, and inside bathroom stalls. Share our project on social media, and send this website to every person you know!
