Calling all young artists who don’t want to be shot! Since the Parkland shooting, students have taken charge of the gun-control movement. It’s time for the rest of the country to join in this fight for change. We need to keep the media engaged, and make more voices heard. How will we do this? Through art.
Here is our ask:
- We would like you to submit your gun-control artwork to www.art4survival@gmail.com by March 20th. Above all this issue is out our right to live. This is a natural right, which should be stronger than any other. We welcome art which is edgy and provocative!
What will we do with your art?
- Awesome things! First, during the March For Our Lives (March 24th), we will be handing out posters of your work. These posters will display the name of our organization and encourage more young artists to submit their work through our website.
What next?
- We will harness our mad social media skills! We will spread our movement to cities throughout America, and get the whole country riled up.
And finally?
4. This is the really cool part. We will project your artwork onto buildings across the country, so that your messages cannot be ignored.
